Harry Potter and the Philosphers Stone

Where I will be talking about Harry Potter series and I will also be sharing interesting facts about the same.

Harry Potter is a world famous book series and is also one of the highest grossing movie series of ALL TIME!!!

So firstly talking about the author who came up with this legendary book series.    

JK Rowling is one of the most popular writers in the history of literature.

Harry Potter is based on  an eleven year old orphan boy named Harry who is sent to live with his aunt and uncle after his parents die in a car crash, atleast that’s what he is told till his eleventh bday when a mysterious man arrives at his aunt and uncles doorstep.The arrival of the man changed his life forever…………..

This truly helped develop an interest of all readers whether young or old.This not only caught the eye of the readers but also left them asking for more.

Furthermore, the mysterious man named Hagrid takes him to a different world which is way unlike the world Harry is used to.This world was known as the Wizarding World.Everyone knew him in that world, they treated him as if he was a celebrity, but this was only the happy part…………….

This kept the interest of the readers on the pages of the book and not once did it make the readers think to put the book aside.

All things have a good part and a bad part so did Harry’s new life.The good part was that this world made Harry feel welcome which was much unlike his uncle’s house where he was treated as if he was nothing.One thing was similar that this world had a school as well but they did not teach subjects such as science, mathematics, history etc.Instead it taught subjects such as potions, charms, defence against dark arts etc .After Harry realised that the real reason for his parents death was not an car accident but was some dark force or people acting against him.As Harry started school he met many people of his age but little did he know that two of them would stick with him till the very end. Day by day he realised that not all people were good, not all people were happy to see him, not all people liked his parents, not all people liked him……………………………

The incredible description triggered the readers imagination and created a clear picture of everything in the readers mind.

Day by day, Harry  realised that there was much more to his life than a few books of potions or charms.He was different than other people of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.There was more to his life than he knew and more than people told him.There were mysteries waiting to be solved and secrets waiting to be unfolded………………………..

Page by page the readers imagination and interest grew bigger and bolder.This curiosity made the reader to move on to the next book in the series which I will be talking about in my next blog!!
